Traceable Superfine Merino Wool from New Zealand: A Mark of Quality and Durability

At the heart of our commitment to excellence is our dedication to sourcing traceable superfine merino wool. Understanding the journey from farm to fabric is crucial, and it begins with knowing the very farms and farmers who nurture the merino sheep. This intimate knowledge allows us to ascertain the precise micron levels of our wool, ensuring a superfine texture at 17.3 microns.

But we don’t stop there. We meticulously select the merino that makes its way into our products, right down to the specific part of the sheep it’s sheared from. This careful selection process guarantees a longer staple length in our fibres, which is the cornerstone of fabric consistency. And where there’s consistency, there’s unmatched quality and durability.

Choose our products, and you’re choosing a garment crafted with intention, care, and a deep respect for the material that makes it all possible.

Eco-Friendly Bamboo ≥ Sustainable Bamboo

It’s essential to recognize that not all bamboo fabric is created equal. Many are unaware that the process of transforming bamboo into fibres for clothing can be environmentally detrimental. While bamboo is inherently sustainable and one of the fastest-growing renewable fibres on the planet, the environmental impact of its processing is a concern. If the production process releases chemicals back into the environment, can we truly consider it eco-friendly? The short answer is no.

That’s precisely why we’ve opted for a bamboo source that adheres to an eco-conscious process. Our bamboo is literally hand-picked, eliminating the need for machinery and, more importantly, avoiding the introduction of harmful chemicals. Our method involves crushing the woody parts of the bamboo plant and employing natural enzymes to break down the bamboo walls into a mushy mass. The natural fibres are then mechanically combed out and spun into yarn. This technique is truly eco-friendly, side-stepping harmful chemicals and preserving the plant’s inherent benefits.
